Compact alarm unit, for level signaling, controlling liquid level or as an alarm. The universal water alarm unit works with all kinds of sensors and has adjustable sensor sensitivity. Previously, the model number was LLR-230.
Applications
Adjustable switching delay
Programming is not necessary. Testing operation -both during and after installation- is easy. Response time is adjustable from 0.1 to 10 seconds: this switching delay works both for switching the relay on and off.
Professional DIN version
This water detector contains a voltage-free changeover contact: suitable for controlling a 230V valve or pump (up to 1.5 A). As an alarm contact, it is suitable for an external alarm generator, activating a GSM dialer or as a signal to a BMS or security system.
Water alarm unit | point or line detection
A minimum of one (1) water sensor or float switch is required for use as a water alarm unit. With an additional sensor you increase the alarm security. This adjustable water alarm is suitable for a wide variety of conductivity sensors, both point and line detection. Example line detection: with water detection cord you create a measuring circuit, for example along a water pipe.
Water alarm unit | level control
For automatic control of a liquid level, 2 sensors or floats are required. The mounting height of the sensors determines the lower and upper switching point. The time delay is useful with a moving (undulating) liquid surface. The switching contact can control a pump, for example, to automatically refill a basin when the MIN position is reached. Another application is the automatic opening of electric valve or gate valve, when the maximum permissible water level is reached.
